Greymartin School Browser

The school browser is designed to allow school personnel to prescreen internet websites and authorize access by grade level. Designed to work in both large and small network environments, the browser allows students to request access to websites and provides teachers and principals (and other authorized users) with an opportunity to respond to the requests with a message.

The application is composed of two programs:

Web Administration Utility requires the user to enter an 'administrator password' during the software setup process. The administrator software has a number of utilities (including an unrestricted browser) that allow for review, approval/denial, text response to requests, and user management.

Browser Application requires users to 'log in' and then manages content viewing based on user profile (including bookmarks). Users that discover a website not listed are able to request that the site be added.
